Mecca Bingo has shown it’s support for the I’m Backing Bingo campaign, which has been set up to drive the Government into maintaining the 15% tax on bingo halls in the UK.
The Government plans on raising the tax on bingo halls up to 22%, which many bingo analysts are suggesting will see the end of the live bingo hall. In a petition on a Government website, already over 2,000 people have pledged their support for the 15% tax to remain in place.
